Lancome Tient Idole Ultra Wear foundation review

Happy New Year! It's 2020 and I can't believe it.. feels like 2019 - the last "teen" year just flew away...

New Year, new product review ^_^.

Anyways.. I was cleaning up the drawers (and filled in 2 baskets with products I'm not using anyways) - more info on that will come in future posts - and I realized I had a bunch of Lancome Tient Idole Ultra Wear foundation samples - shade 03-beige diaphane. 

I decided to empty them all in an empty sample jar I had and use the product up. To be quite honest I ended up with over half of sample jar full (around 5ml).

Anyhow, here's my thoughts on the product. Firstly, I love how the product smells. I don't own the Lancome Idole fragrance but I suppose it's from the same range so I do enjoy the smell.

- The first thing I realized out of the bat was the fact that as soon as I pored the product into the jar it oxidized quite a lot. From emptying a sample to another it was a visible change. I'll guess that it changed around 2-3 shades.

- I tested the product out on my face to see how it'll perform and strangely enough in pictures it looks fine:

But in real life you can certainly tell it's quite the wrong shade. It's at least 2 shades darker than it should be. Which is a pity as the product itself feels weightless on the skin, it doesn't leave the skin feeling tacky or strange at all. 

I'm still going to use the whole sample jar I have before deciding if I will purchase the product.. keeping in mind buying two shades lighter that I'm supposed to ^_^.

It is a full coverage foundation which is a strong point for crazy skin like mine so that's a plus. As for its alleged 24h wear .. to be honest I quite doubt it for oily skins but hey.. I haven't found a foundation that actually lasted that long without any touch-ups.

I'm strongly considering purchasing the full size product after testing it out a few more times to see if my skin likes it.
