Fragrances Empties Haul
Hiya,
I haven't made an empties post in such a long time. My empties bag was really full so before I tossed them away I will split them into categories so it'll be easier.
In this post I'll talk about Fragrances as you may tell from the title sic...
I do own a ton of fragrances so for me to empty a couple of bottles does say something. Among the bunch I own not all of them are high-end ones. I don't like to pay a lot for the fragrances if I'm just at the office or running errands as I've come across a lot of affordable fragrances that last quite a decent time on my skin so I don't see the point of paying triple (or even more) the price just for the label/brand if you find a scent that you like for cheaper the price.
So, without further ado here are the empties:
I'll go from left to right:
~ Intimately Beckham by David Beckham:
This was my travel to fragrance, it has quite a sturdy bottle so it was great for tossing it into a bag and travel with it if it's for more days. It has seductive scents of floral notes tempered with sandalwood, amber and star anise.
I don't think it's made anymore as the only ones I found online were the eau de toilette ones and were at a whooping price of 130$.
~ Rare Amethyst by Avon:
This was my office scent for a couple of months, I just had it in one of the drawers as a lot of times I'm just in a hurry and forget about fragrance (I'm clumsy like that) and end up spraying one at the office. So this lived in my office drawer.
It was launched in 2015, it's top notes are Prune, middle Violet and the base ones are Sandalwood.
Apparently the face of the perfume was Irina Shayk.. nevertheless the scent itself is quite pleasant if you enjoy this type of perfumes.
It's a really affordable fragrance, I got people saying that it's similar with Alien by Mugler (but without the Jasmine). It's full size price is 23$ but it's often on sale (currently it's 12,99$ on Avon's website: Rare Amethyst. )
~ Rare Diamonds by Avon:
This was a fragrance I bought because I liked the bottle :). It's a rich, romantic perfume.
Top notes: Plum Blossom, Guava and Peony. Middle: Gardenia, Diamond Orchid, Sambac Jasmine. Base: Cashmere Wood, Patchouli Flower and Creamy Amber.
It's a nice everyday inexpensive fragrance.
~ Oceanus by The Body Shop:
I has the sample size in my makeup purse that's in my handbag for ages. It was a 7 ml if I'm not mistaken bottle without a dropper or a spritz cap. It has a really nice fresh scent. Apparently it's a unisex fragrance, it's top notes are: water lily; middle notes: violet, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, rose and geranium; base notes: sandalwood and musk.
I couldn't find it on their website anymore so I suppose since I had it it was discontinued. You can still find it on websites like eBay though. Oceanus eBay.
~ Opium by Yves Saint Laurent:
I went through about 5 bottles of this fragrance in a 15 years span. This scent was firstly launched in 1977.. wow... it's a classic oriental smell. They have relaunched it in 2009 in a new bottle and a different scent so if you liked the original one scatter the internet for overstock :).
Top notes: Coriander, Plum, Citruses, Mandarin Orange, Pepper, Jasmine, Cloves, West Indian Bay and Bergamot.
Middle: Carnation, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Cinnamon, Orris Root, Peach, Lily-of-the-Valley, Rose.
Base: Ladbanum, Tolu Balsam, Sandalwood, Opoponax, Musk, Coconut, Vanilla, Benzoin, Vetiver, Incence, Cedar, Myrrh, Castoreum, Amber.
The fragrance it's really complex but I think it smells awesome, it's one of those scents that you recognize from a far.
I got all the info regarding their notes from https://www.fragrantica.com/. It's a really nice website which as tones of perfumes info, notes, creators, launch years etc.
Note: This post is in no way, shape or form sponsored by anyone. If ever I would be requested to do a sponsor post I will let you know. This are my own opinions otherwise stated.
Lots of love,
Andreea
