MAKE UP FOR EVER haul
Hi there,
^_^ I kept the best for last - (in my opinion at least) ^_^.
This last haul it for MUFE products.
The first product I'm going to talk about is the:
- Mist&Fix (Make-up fixer mist); it looks like this:
Although I have this for a while (that's why it's in the old packaging) I decided to include this in the haul since I haven't talked about it before. It is similar with the MAC Fix +. For me the differences are: the smell; the packaging(this has a cap and fix+ has a swirly lock thingy); the quantity you get(125 ml. MUFE vs 100 ml MAC) and of course the price (29$ MUFE vs 22$ MAC)- so the difference is not crazy. But except that, for me at least they do the same thing(even though this one is not supposed to be use prior makeup - or at least it doesn't say on the bottle), they feel the same on the skin. It is a good product.
Next one is :
- Step 1 Skin Equilizer Mattifying face primer. It looks like this:
This is a full sized face primer. It has 30 ml (1 fl.oz). You're supposed to use it as a normal face primer (after you clean and moistureize your face and before foundation). I can tell you this: I love it!! It does miracles on my skin. As I have oily skin this keeps my skin matte(this particular one has silicone in it so if you don't like silicone or your skin has issues with it I would advise you to avoid it). I totally love this primer. Even though is on the pricey side I think it's worth every penny. They have a wide range of primers for all skin types and needs and until now they have 3 types as travel sized ones (15 ml, 0.5 fl.oz - they retail for 16$ at Sephora.com).
It retails for: 36$ (at Sephora.com).
The next product is:
- HD Foundation(shade 120). It looks like this:
This is an oil-free, medium to full coverage (buildable) foundation. I used it just twice since I received it and I wouldn't changed it in a million years... I really don't know why I was the last person on the planet that jumped into this MUFE HD Foundation wagon. It is amazing... It leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth, you can build it up on the places you need more coverage, is not heavy on the skin, it doesn't crease. I totally adore this foundation. I was a hell of a lucky too (I choose the shade of of internet and just prayed that it matches me - and it does) :D.
It retails for: 43$ (at Sephora.com).
The next MUFE item in this haul is:
- HD Powder (mini size - 5 gr. 0.17 oz.). It looks like this:
I've actually purchased this powder from Sephora that's in my city (I was surprised that it had MUFE products - this was the only one and the lady at the counter told me that normally they don't carry MUFE here and that they received it by mistake - aparentlly if you want MUFE stuff in Romania you have to travel to one of those 5-6 Sephora stores from the whole country to find them. Not mentioning that we're stuck in the middle ages and online shopping is not an option(it doesn't exist) at the Sephora.ro). Ok, enough blabbing, let's get back to the product. I haven't used it before even though I have it for some time but now that I received the HD foundation too I thought I should give it a try. It is a lovely, incredible face powder. It doesn't set in my fine lines, it illuminates the under eye area. I just love it. The size is a decent amount, even though you wouldn't think 5 gr (0.17 oz.) is much or enough it really is quite a decent amount.
This one retails for: 19$ (at Sephora.com) - or 34$ for the full size (0.3 oz).
Next product is:
- MUFE Artist shadows with metal case. They look like this:
I was supposed to receive the new Artist Palette Volume 1 - Nudes which looks like this:
and retails for: 42$(with the value of 136$ - at Sephora.com) but it was out of stock or they didn't get it yet in the store my god parents went. So they decided to purchase the full sized artist eye shadows individually and put them in a metal palette. Each artist shadow cost 21$ and the metal case is 14$. So the overall value was 203$(but they payed about 140$ with some discounts). Even though I think that's a crazy price for some eyeshadows I can say that from now one I'm going to subscribe for MUFE eyeshadows everytime they are going to USA. These are the most awesome, pigmented, they blend like butter eyeshadows I've ever seen and had. They are expensive but you get a huge pan, it's like double the size of a normal eyeshadow pan.
The last MUFE product I'me going to talk about is:
- Rouge Artist Natural lipstick in N9-Copper Pink. It looks like this:
I've bought this sample/travel sized lipstick of ebay and it arrived last week. I never had a MUFE lipstick before and before buying the full sized I thought I should give it a try. I can tell you that: It's like butter. It's not heavy on the lips at all, it's really pigmented. I really like it.
The full size one retails for: 20$ (at Sephora.com).
I hope you found it usefull, I had fun writing this hauls. I felt like a child opening his Christmas presents when I received them :).
Let me know your thoughts,
Lots of love,
Andreea
